The Day I Snapped (And Why Lone Buffalo Had to Be Born)

It was 100 degrees.
My student was chunking wedges like it was his job.
My shirt? Soaked, shiny, stuck to me like a wet paper towel.

That’s when I lost it. Not my temper (okay, a little)... but my patience with golf shirts made for people who don’t golf.

I walked back out from the clubhouse after lunch — A/C still clinging to my skin — and the heat hit me like a “one more beer” bad decision.

I tried rolling my sleeves up like a tank top and muttered:

“I’m gonna make a shirt that doesn’t suck.”

And that’s how Lone Buffalo was born.

This is the brand built for real golfers. Guys who sweat. Who play hard. Who know that comfort matters when you’re grinding through 18 (and the turn).
